About Us
Linden Netball Club is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the country, coached by Colette Thomson (MBE).
Our club supports 10 teams, with 8 playing in the Birmingham Netball League. Linden's 1st team plays in the National Premier 2 League, with the regional team competing in the Senior West Midlands Regional 1 League. We also have an U19s Regional League side.
A friendly and supportive club, we welcome players of all abilities.
Linden Head Coach - Colette Thomson (MBE)
Colette has been an assistant coach to the England Roses team since 2011 and was part of the national team who won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and bronze at 2019 World Cup in Liverpool. Her most recent achievement comes in the form of the prestigious Sunday Times Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019, recognising her extraordinary dedication to netball in this country.
She has been head coach of the Linden Netball Club, from the start and mentored many England stars on their rise to the top.
Linden's home venue, Nechells Wellbeing Centre, was fully refurbished in 2021. Training takes place in the indoor double sports hall arena, with Prem matches playing on the central showcase court.
